Lands and Recreation

This luxury recreational retreat has almost anything one could want. Fishing at Hidden Lake or on the private pond located on the property. The pond is a spring fed fishing escape located in a very secluded setting in an Aspen grove. Snowmobiling and ATV riding on the property or on nearby New Mexico state land and national forest. 

Hunting with the six elk permits supplied by NM Department of Game and Fish (2 either sex bow, 2 either sex rifle and two cow). Other wildlife on the property include mule deer, turkey, grouse, bear and bobcat. Skiing, golf and tennis at the Angel Fire Resort. Skiing at Red River, Taos or Santa Fe.

ABOUT STAN HARRELL

Stan moved from Texas to Angel Fire in 1972 to work on the ski mountain and at the resort lake, learning to love the Moreno Valley. Enjoying his hobbies of skiing, fly-fishing, photography and travel, Stan realized he would stay in Angel Fire and decided to build his career in real estate. He joined the staff of Monte Verde Realty in 1979, became the qualifying broker in 1981 and the sole proprietor in 1987.

Stan is an alumnus of Texas Tech University with an emphasis in agriculture.

During his years of real estate brokerage, Stan has made mountain acreage, equestrian properties and recreational ranches his specialty.

Stan merged MONTE VERDE REALTY with Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties in May of 2019 in order to enhance his internet presence for his clients and to join a team of mountain real estate professionals.

His commitment to the community includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce and the Angel Fire Resort Property Owners Association. He has also served on the Colfax County Subdivision and Angel Fire Architectural Review committees. Stan served as President of the Angel Fire Community Foundation for over 20 years. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Angel Fire Community Foundation.
